3M 5P71 P95 Particulate Filter

The 3M 5P71 particulate filters NIOSH approved for environments containing solids, liquids and certain metal fumes. Do not use these 3M P95 filters for gases, asbestos or sandblasting. 3M P95 respirator filters provide 95% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols including oils. These 3M filters are designed for use in a variety of workplace applications, including pesticide spraying, agriculture, petrochemical manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, paper processing, boat manufacturing, lab settings, spray painting, lacquering and more. This particulate filter from 3M can help reduce inhalation exposures to certain airborne biological particles (including mold, Bacillus anthracis, Avian Influenza, Mycobacterium tuberculosis) but cannot eliminate the risk of contracting infection, illness or disease. 5P71 filters can be used with 3M 5000-series assembled respirators and 3M 6000-series cartridges with 501 Filter Retainer.
