The DuPont™ Tyvek® disposable hood is composed of a flash spun high density polyethylene that provides a barrier repelling particles as small as one micron and is more abrasion resistant and breathable than other micro-porous materials. This disposable Tyvek® hood is ideal for pairing with PAPR systems and extends over the shoulders to provide maximum protection. It is ideal in situations involving lead, asbestos, spray paint and a large number of other hazardous substances.
