The twin cutting edge in Knipex 95 18 200 SBA separates the cutting process into two steps, with the initial cut taking on the insulating sheath, and the final cut slicing through the conductor. This allows the user to cut through thicker cables using just one hand to operate the tool. The design of these 8” cable shears features favorable lever ratio and improved cutting edge geometry, requiring less effort to get the desired results. Precision ground, hardened blades nearly glide through copper or aluminium cables, making a clean and smooth cut with no deformation or crushing. The insulated handles have pinch and slip guards to protect the hands of the operator from injury.
