Chicago Protective’s hip length aluminized leggings 470-AKV are a great solution for protection against high levels of radiant heat in most applications. They are more economical than waist length pants or bib overalls, are easy to use and fit a wider range of sizes while offering sufficient protection when used with a long coat. These para aramid (Kevlar® or equivalent) and fiberglass blend aluminum coated leggings provide good abrasion resistance and protection from contact temperatures of up to several hundred degrees F for short durations.
