Para Aramid (Kevlar® or equivalent) blend material used on these high temperature aluminized jackets provides great abrasion resistance and is capable of withstanding rather high contact temperatures. Aluminized clothing, such as the 600-AKV jacket from CPA, effectively reflects radiant heat and is capable of shedding molten splash, while the conductive heat transfer of the garment is closely related to the material used in the garment.
