3M Petroleum Sorbent Mini Booms T-8

The 3M T-8 Mini Boom is ideal for laying on water for both containment and reclamation of petroleum based solutions. Made from a selective sorbent that will only “sorb” hydrocarbon-based liquids (oleophilic) and repel aqueous-based liquids (hydrophobic), T-8 Mini Boom from 3M can absorb 2 gal on oil based product per boom and has a 3 inch diameter scrim on the exterior of the boom which contains the particulate sorbent materials with ease and easily identifies the type of boom for ease of use. These Booms are also ideal for laying on the floor to encircle a leak or spill to both contain and absorb it.
