These Chicago Protective covermitts provide protection from abrasion and physical damage to regular heat resistant gloves from CPA. They feature an open top design which allows individual fingers to still have motion while guarding the main abrasion surface of the gloves from damage while handling rough or heavy objects. Para Aramid (Kevlar® or equivalent) is blended with fiberglass to make the material used on these gloves. It offers good abrasion resistance and is suitable for use in 400-600 degrees F temperatures.
