35 oz Zetex Plus material on surfaces of these high heat gloves provides extreme heat protection - from short duration contact with objects at temperatures up to 1800 degrees F. Normally, Zetex Plus gloves offer moderate abrasion resistance, but the leather palm reinforcements help increase the abrasion resistance and allow these gloves to last longer in applications requiring handling of rough objects. Full wool lining of these work gloves helps increase heat insulation. Leather on palms might char and decrease in flexibility when subjected to extremely high temperature.
