MSA Skullgard hard caps are heat resistant caps that can withstand up to 350°F. Even at high temperatures they maintain their protection capabilities. Skullgard hard caps are designed to offer exceptional protection in hot and dangerous industries. MSA 454617 is ideal for environments such as steel mills and meets all requirements for a Type 1 (top impact) hard cap which is outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 (Class G) standards. Also meets the voluntary standard for low temperature [LT].
